These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Letterbox (the "App"), published by 0n1 Studios, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us"). By downloading or playing the App, you agree to these Terms.

1License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to your use of the App.

2Puzzles you create and share

Letterbox lets you create custom puzzles and share them. You are solely responsible for the content of any puzzle you create, including its phrase, attribution, and creator name. By publishing a puzzle so that others can import it, you grant 0n1 Studios a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, and display that puzzle within the service so other players can find and play it.

You agree that you will not create or share content that:

is unlawful, hateful, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable;
infringes anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights;
contains personal or sensitive information about yourself or others.

Moderation. Shared puzzles are user-generated content. We do not endorse them, and we may remove any shared puzzle or share code at our discretion. To report objectionable content, email [email protected] and we will review it.

3Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App except where permitted by law.
Don't attempt to disrupt the service or other players' use of it.
Don't use the App for anything unlawful.

4iCloud sync

Cross-device sync relies on your personal iCloud account and is subject to Apple's terms. Availability of sync depends on your iCloud status and connectivity; the App remains fully playable offline.

5Intellectual property

The App and its software, design, and built-in content are owned by 0n1 Studios or its licensors. Quotations used in built-in puzzles are attributed to their authors and remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or brand.

6Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 0n1 Studios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
