Duels for iOS & Apple Watch · Last updated 29 May 2026
Duels is a single-player and local-multiplayer game. It is built to be played without an account, and it keeps your data on your device by default. This policy explains exactly what is — and is not — handled when you play.
The short version. No account or sign-up. No ads. No advertising identifiers and no third-party tracking. We never sell your data. The only information that ever leaves your device is anonymous, opt-out usage and crash statistics — and you can turn that off in Settings.
Duels is developed and published by 0n1 Studios, a sole proprietorship ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact [email protected].
Duels has no login or user accounts. You are not asked for a name, email address, phone number, or any other contact detail. Your player profile — your progress, elements, inventory, and settings — is stored only on your device.
Duels can share anonymous usage and diagnostic statistics to help us fix bugs and improve the game. This is optional and can be disabled at any time under Settings → Share Anonymous Analytics. When enabled, the data is processed through TelemetryDeck and Apple's MetricKit and is not linked to your identity and is never used to track you across apps or services.
| Data | When | Why | Linked to you |
|---|---|---|---|
| App usage & product interaction (e.g. tutorial completed, duel finished) | Only if analytics is on | Understand which features are used | No |
| Crash & performance diagnostics | Only if analytics is on | Find and fix stability issues | No |
| Purchase events (which bundle was bought) | Only if analytics is on | Understand what players value | No |
| Name, email, contacts, photos, precise location | Never collected | — | — |
| Advertising identifiers (IDFA) | Never collected | — | — |
Duels offers optional in-app purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID. We do not see or store your payment card details. A record of what you have purchased is kept on your device so your items stay unlocked.
When you duel another player nearby, Duels connects the two devices directly over the local network or Bluetooth using Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework. Game messages travel directly between the devices taking part — there is no Duels game server, and your gameplay is not routed through or stored on our infrastructure.
The Apple Watch companion mirrors live game state from your iPhone using Apple's WatchConnectivity. This information stays on your paired devices.
Each permission is requested only when the relevant feature is used, and the game remains playable if you decline:
Your profile and progress are stored locally on your device (in the iOS Keychain). Anonymous analytics, if enabled, are processed by TelemetryDeck. In-app purchase records are handled by Apple. Deleting the app removes the game's local data from your device.
Duels is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because no personal information is collected to begin with, the game can be enjoyed without sharing any identifying details.
If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will be reflected in a future app update.
